RIVER AND NATURE EXPERIENCE
The Santo Domingo River flows in a stunning valley. Its shores are of incredible granite bedrock and have been sculpted by the water from time immemorial. The rapids on this river are class 2, making it perfect for families looking to enjoy the river for an extended period or for a group of friends seeking a peaceful whitewater adventure.
This half-day tour allows you to relax amidst this refreshing nature. The descent takes 2 hours, during which we will make several stops to swim and observe the valley’s biodiversity from river level. The waves are fun but never risky, and there will be plenty of interesting discoveries to make along the way.
Suitable for children from the age of five and families. We recommend combining this trip with a visit to a cocoa farm or a paragliding flight above waterfalls on the way back to make sure you fully take advantage of the drive from Medellin.

Meet at 10:00 a.m at our office at Hostel Masaya, El Poblado,
Medellín.

You will meet the guides at our operational office, located
1.30 hours from Medellín on the Bogotá-Medellín highway.

We will take a short ride in a 4×4 vehicle that will bring us to
the river.

Learn about safety procedures before starting the activity.

Get ready to paddle through 4 km of exhilarating rapids, with
multiple stops along the way for swimming and observing the
biodiversity of the valley.
