RAINFOREST DAY EXPEDITION
The Río Verde, a pristine, clear, green river, carves through untouched Colombian rainforest. This day trip is perfect for any traveler over 14 years old, with a keen sense of adventure. Start exploring by a 4×4 journey to the edge of the Jungle, and hike down the jungle canyon for 1.3 hours, with pack mules carrying the Rafts.
Paddle over 25 km of the Rio Verde and the famous Rio Samaná. Class 3 & 4 waves and rapids.
We will stop to swim in a pristine waterfall, interact with local traditional gold miners, and discover the countless species of endemic fauna and flora.

Meet at 6:00 a.m at our office at Hostel Masaya, El Poblado,
Medellín.

Drive 1 ½ hours to our operation base.

Enjoy breakfast overlooking the mountains.

1-hour journey by 4×4 to the town of Boquerón.

Hike 1 ½ hours from Boquerón down the canyon as mules carry
the gear.
